The Other Side Of The Bed - Part 2
Phase 3: Serious Foreplay
The big train is gathering momentum. Now get a load of these physiological reactions:
Swelling breasts. You already know that an erect nipple is a good sign, but a woman’s entire breast can swell as much as 25% during arousal.
Swollen labia. When a woman becomes very aroused, her vaginal lips swell slightly and begin to move away from their usual position covering the opening of the vagina.
Widening eyes. There’s a reason they call the bedroom eyes. If her pupils are dilated, that could be a sign of sexual readiness.
Oral sex. It’s a lovely pair of words and most women can’t get enough of it. All women have different preferences during oral sex, so the best advice is to experiment. Use both sides of your tongue for example, or let your tongue go soft in such a way that you’d slur your words if you tried to speak. The problem with oral sex is that no matterwhat’s going on in a woman’s body, in her head she might be feeling insecure about how she smells or tastes. A simple reassurance from you that the neighbourhood is fine, “You taste so good”, should nip that in the bud, as it were. Many women are also turned of by the taste of their own vaginal juices, so don’t rush to kiss her immediately afterwards.
Generally speaking, the happy recipient of oral sex is willing to reciprocate for her man. I say generally because the act itself isn’t physically sensational for a woman. Your nether region may not recall a bed of roses. During oral sex, her lips can dry out quickly and chafe, and then there’s the gag reflex.
Phase 4: The Plunge
And now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for.
The moment of penetration is physically pleasant, like a parting of the waters. It’s not an invasion, more like a warm welcome. But, alas, the welcome mat doesn’t stay out forever. After a couple of minutes, the initial thrill of being entered wears off and penetration turns into another animal: intercourse.
Because the clitoris isn’t normally stimulated during missionary-position sex, and because there are a few nerve endings in the rear two-thirds of the vagina, most women don’t get a whole lot out of this physically. What to do about it? Kissing or breast touching can help, but the best solution may be to try a different position. Woman-on-top is classic for letting her grind to orgasm, but side-by-side or rear-entry sex, both of which allow her to stimulate herself while you’re inside her, are also effective.
