Cow Power. Got Milk?
Drinking milk may reduce the risk of colon cancer. Researchers found that men whose diets included 700 to 800 mg of calcium a day were up to 50% less likely to develop some forms of colon cancer then mean whose diets contained less than 500 mg calcium. If you don’t get enough calcium, a nutritional supplement could help to reduce your risk. However, if you already get a lot of calcium, taking more won’t do you much good. The benefits appear to top out at 700 mg.
