Change Your Oil
A possible reason to start using more sunflower oil and safflower oil: Both are high in linoleic acid – a compound that helps keep blood pressure under control and reduce cholesterol levels. When reseachers in Japan analysed blood samples from 7500 men and women, they found that individuals who increased the amount of linoleic acis in their diets by just five percent were 28% less likely to suffer a stroke.
